On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Logan-Magnolia Board of Education announced the hiring of Jacob Hedger as the district's new superintendent in a release posted to the school's website and social media.
Hedger will officially step into the role July 1.
“Mr. Hedger brings a wealth of experience having previously served as a teacher, coach, guidance counselor and principal at the district,” the release states. “His dedication to education and proven leadership made him an ideal candidate to lead the district moving forward. The board and our interview committees are confident that he not only will keep the district as one of the best in the region both academically and in extracurriculars, but also will advance the district to new heights.”
