City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes January 10, 2024 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Bonsall, Murphy, Schauer; Gunia, Wingrove. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Bonsall second by Murphy to approve minutes from December 10th Regular Council Meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Meredith Van Houten gave the Fire Department report. Jill Schaben gave the DCDC report updating the Council on grants. Paula Evans gave the library report. Paula would like the City and School to look at the library doors. Larry Malone spoke under Public Input about Pleasantview Park getting dredged. Mayor Knickman let him know the City is working on getting something done but we have several entities involved. Mayor Knickman thanked the City Employees for doing an amazing job during our recent snow event. Chief Miller gave the Police Report, he let the Council know the next STEP wave will begin February 11th. Motin by Schauer second by Bonsall to approve letting the American Legion put a flag drop off at City Hall. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Schauer to approve MidAmerican Energy to get power to Pleasantview Park for $18386.04. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Bonsall to adjourn at 7:48pm.
