A Persia man faces multiple charges after crashing his truck in Fremont County last Friday.
Gary Redinbaugh, 51, was arrested and charged with OWI – second offense and failure to maintain control.
According to reporting from KMA, deputies of the Fremont County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash near 190th Street and 350th Avenue east of Sidney at around 3:20 p.m. There they found a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado that had been wrecked.
While the deputies were investigating the crash, Redinbaugh “allegedly told authorities that he believed he was near Harlan, approximately 90 minutes from the crash site,” KMA reported.
He was then taken to the Fremont County Jail on the aforementioned charges. Sidney Fire and Rescue also assisted at the scene.
