Deanna Kay McCullough, daughter of Rex and Irene (Andresen) Littleton was born June 17, 1949, in Denison. She graduated from Denison High School with the Class of 1968.
On Aug. 2, 1969, Deanna was united in marriage to Thomas Lyle McCullough at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Vail. To this union, three children were born: Tami, Holly, and Tommy. They resided in Denison for a few years before making their home in Vail.
Over the years, Deanna was a country house wife, babysitter, and sold Avon for many years. She enjoyed going to car shows with her husband, Tom, watching SIFI and western shows, listening to Rock-N-Roll music, playing cards of UNO and Slap Jack, baking cookies, and spending time with her granddogs. She had a knack for flowers, especially tulips, roses, irises, and lilacs. Deanna had a strong faith in her Lord and she cherished her family more than anything. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all.
Deanna passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, attaining the age of 73 years, three months, and 14 days. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Daniel P. Schroeder; and her brothers, David, Dennis and Donald Littleton.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband, Tom McCullough of Vail; three children, Tami McCullough of Vail, Holly Gorden of Dow City, and Tommy McCullough of Denison; eight grandchildren, Tasha McCullough of Audubon, Brian McCullough of Vail, Nate Gorden of Dow City, Josh Gorden of Dow City, Kali Warnke of Denison, Kyra Warnke of Denison, Thomas McCullough of Denison, Tadeon McCullough of Denison; one great-grandson, Tucker McCullough of Audubon; other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Vail. Fr. Michael Cronin served as Celebrant of the Mass with inurnment in Crawford Heights Memory Gardens in Denison. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of arrangements.
