City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes October 13, 2020 Mayor ProTem Gunia called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, October 13, 2020 at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Kuhlman, Schauer, Gunia, Casperson. Motion by Kuhlman second by Schauer to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Kuhlman to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Kuhlman second by Casperson to approve consent agenda items: Building Permits- John Schmitt, James Delozier, Tony Casperson, Craig Miller, Ed Wendt, Jeff Miller, Gary Neilsen, Larry Heller, Rick Wingrove, United Bank and Greg Brown. All in favor, motion carried. Jen Neilsen spoke on behalf of the Library Board, she informed the Council that they are looking at some policy changes, including over due books/movies with fines. Meredith VanHouten, City Clerk let the Council let the know that next months meeting is on Veteran’s Day which is a day off for the City Employees so next months meeting will be Tuesday, November 10th at 5:30 pm. Motion by Kuhlman second Casperson to go with the $500 contract with SWIPCO to finish up the Planning & Zoning Book. All in favor, motion carried. The Council discussed the burn pile and implementing a fee to out of towners if they use the burn pile. They also discussed appointing a new council member but tabled it until next month. No tree bids had been received at this time so no action on this agenda item. Cameras were discussed and locations the Council would like to see cameras. No action was taken Motion by Kuhlman second by Casperson to adjourn at 6:54pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
