City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes June 8, 2022 Mayor Pro Tem Gunia called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, June 8 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Gunia, Schauer, Casperson, Skarin, Kuhlman. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to approve minutes from May 11th regular meeting and May 11th public hearing. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Kuhlman second by Schauer to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Kuhlman to approve Liquor License for 4-County Fair and Building permits for Judith Ronk, Debra Garrett, Joanne Meeves and Krystal Hartmann. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Kuhlman to send building permit for Rick Wingrove to the Board of Adjustment for front yard setbacks not being met. Joyce Cogdill, Dunlap Fire Department, gave the Fire Departments monthly report. Paula Evans, librarian, gave a library report. Tony Warnock, Water Superintendent, let the Council know King would be starting construction of the Water Pressure Project this week. Steve Miller, Chief of Police, gave his monthly report. Lisa Gross spoke to the Council about Workforce Housing tax incentives available. Motion by Schauer, second by Kuhlman approving Resolution 2022-10 for financial support of Workforce Housing tax incentive program. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Kuhlman, second by Casperson to give $1.50 raises to Steve Miller, George Athan, part-time officer pay, Tony Warnock, Luke Fouts, Paul Nichols, Meredith Van Houten, Paula Evans and Gary Neilsen. Ayes: Casperson, Schauer, Kuhlman, Gunia; Abstain: Skarin. Motion carried. Motion by Kuhlman second by Schauer to adjourn at 7:50pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
