City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes December 8, 2021 Mayor Knickman called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Gunia, Schauer, Casperson; absent: Kuhlman, Hopkins. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to approve minutes from November 8 regular meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Paula Evans, librarian, let the council know they received the King Grant of $6650 to update the children’s section. Linda Hicks was also present to give the Council some of the Library Boards concerns with putting a hallway into the library using the current storage room. Motion by Gunia second by Casperson to approve the manhole repairs. All in favor, motion carried. The Park Board also received the King Grant of $53,430 to update the playground equipment at Pleasant View Park. It was decided that January’s meeting will be on the 19th due to vacations. Tony Casperson and Benjamin Schauer will be the City’s representatives for the joint School/DCDC/City meeting. Motion by Schauer second by Gunia to approve Resolution 2021-06 SRF report. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to adjourn at 7:58pm. All in favor, motion carried. These minutes will be approved at the next regular council meeting.
