City of Dunlap Meeting Minutes August 11, 2021 Mayor Pro-Tem Gunia called the regular council meeting to order on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall pursuant to law with the following council members present: Gunia, Schauer, Casperson; absent: Hopkins, Kuhlman. Motion by Casperson second by Schauer to approve the agenda. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Casperson second by Schauer to approve minutes from July 21 regular meeting. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Casperson second by Schauer to approve payment of bills. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Casperson second by Schauer to approve consent agenda items: Building permits for Karl & Joanna Heiman, Kimberly de la Vega-fence, Kimberly de la Vega- driveway, Larry Heller and Liquor License for Town & Country. All in favor, motion carried. Paula Evans gave a report on the library. She also let the Council know that in October ISU will bringing a bug exhibit. Meredith Van Houten asked the Council if they are ok with purchasing paint for the St. John youth to paint the Pleasant View Park sign. No one had an issue. Water/sewer rates were discussed but will be decided at a later meeting. Alley behind Dunlap Plumbing was discussed. Tony Warnock will get some cold patch to fill the spot. The generator at City Hall was discussed Mike Gunia is going to look at it to see if he can figure out the problem. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to approve Layne to do the well # 4 repair for $22,545.00. All in favor, motion carried. Motion by Schauer second by Casperson to adjourn at 7:52pm.
